Novax Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an Estimating Manager for a leading structural steel specialist. You will lead the estimating function, manage an experienced team and ensure competitive, accurate pricing across high-profile UK projects.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you’ll own the tender process, develop KPIs, drive performance and work with clients, engineers, architects and suppliers to secure successful outcomes.

Formación

• Experience in a senior estimating or estimating management role.
• Strong experience pricing construction or structural steel projects.
• Experience pricing projects from roughly 50 to 3,000 tonnes.
• Excellent knowledge of building construction and structural engineering principles.
• Experience interpreting drawings and specifications; liaising with contractors, engineers, architects and consultants.
• Line management experience and ability to lead a team.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, manage and develop the Estimating team.
• Personally estimate and convert key enquiries while supporting the wider team to achieve targets.
• Price structural steel projects accurately and competitively.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical information; develop pricing strategies.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and internal departments to secure best prices.
• Report on estimating pipeline and contribute to leadership team reviews.
• Support value engineering and practical commercial solutions.
