Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Project Manager to lead specialist structural steel, stairs and balustrade installations across UK sites. Based in Leeds, you will own projects from planning through to site delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, rigorous programme management, and the ability to travel nationwide, staying away up to four nights per week as needed. Permanent, full-time position with pension and health benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction projects from planning through to delivery.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
• CSCS card and SMSTS or SSSTS qualifications.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel UK-wide.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams across design, production and site delivery.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day project and contract management.
• Manage site teams to deliver safely, efficiently and to programme.
• Coordinate Site Supervisors, Project Surveyors, Commercial, Drawing Office and Production teams.
• Manage project programmes and ensure milestones are achieved.
• Control contractual documentation, orders, bonds and warranties.
• Monitor progress and identify issues before they affect delivery.
• Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Attend client and site meetings across the UK.
• Carry out regular site visits and support installation teams.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities with focus on programme, quality, safety and commercial performance.
