Job summary

A prominent recruitment agency is looking for a talented senior sous chef to join an exclusive private club in Hounslow. The successful candidate will manage a team of 11 chefs and report to the executive head chef. Ideal candidates should have classical French cuisine experience, strong customer-facing skills, and a passion for creating engaging dishes with fresh, local ingredients. Qualifications

  • Experience as a senior sous chef in a similar environment.
  • Strong background in classical French cuisine is advantageous.
  • Ability to create engaging and flavorful dishes.

Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the executive head chef and oversee a team of 11 chefs.
  • Ensure high-quality presentations using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
  • Assist in costings and manage wastage according to health and safety standards.
  • Help develop pastry dishes and cakes.

Shifts- 7am-4;30pm or (11;30am- 7;30pm or10pm

Great opportunity for a talented and ambitious senior sous chef to join this outstanding and prestigious and exclusive private club.As senior sous chef you will report directly into the exec head chef with an overall team of 11 chefs. The senior sous chef should be personable and able to build relationships easily . A background of classical French would be an advantage as will having some experience of A la carte, bistro, summer BBQs and ad hoc events . The senior sous chef should pride on presentations and flavors as well as offering fresh local sourced ingredients and be creative & engaging. The successful senior sous chef will need to have an excellent customer-facing approach and a proactive approach to client relationships. All other duties include costings, wastage, management , haccap and all other health and safety. The senior sous chef will also be happy to help the pastry chef develop pastry dishes & cakes .
