What You Will Do:

Manage and prioritise a caseload of up to 20 children, ensuring each case is approached with diligence and thorough assessment.

Work across Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), Public Law Outline (PLO), and court-related tasks, applying your expertise to deliver robust interventions.

Operate both independently and as part of a passionate team, demonstrating initiative and sound professional judgement.

Maintain accurate, timely case recordings in line with statutory standards and organisational policies.

Attend the office every Monday, with additional office days as required, and balance remaining hours through remote working.

Build strong communication channels with families, partner agencies, and colleagues, always advocating for the best interests of the children you support.

Proven experience handling CIN, CP, PLO, and court work.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also delivering outcomes independently.

Strong record-keeping skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Relevant Social Work qualification and current professional registration.

Working Arrangements:

Hybrid Model: Two office days per week (including Mondays).

Equipment: All necessary IT equipment provided by the council on your start date.
