Site Manager – Salary: Cira 65,000 + Car Allowance + Package. Title: Senior Site Manager. Location: Monument. Type: Full time, Employed. Start: TBC.

We're seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a leading contractor on exciting new projects.

Key Responsibilities of a Site Manager
  • Building strong, effective relationships with clients and their advisors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Championing the clients values and policies across sustainability, health & safety, quality, environment, and team development.
  • Applying and maintaining compliance with the company's Business Management System.
  • Taking a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they escalate.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the project lifecycle.
  • Leading and mentoring junior team members, including conducting annual appraisals and supporting their development.
  • Ensuring all works meet contract specifications and drawings, with accurate records maintained to demonstrate compliance.
  • Carrying out any other duties relevant to the role.
Requirements of a Site Manager
  • Solid technical knowledge and experience working with main contractors.
  • A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant construction discipline – essential.
  • Completion of Safety Level 1 and SMSTS courses.
  • Valid CSCS card.
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor – essential.
  • Background as a Graduate or Trainee Site Engineer.
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with various contract types, including NEC and JCT.
  • Ideally, experience working in secure environments (e.g. prisons), with existing or eligible security clearance.
