I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established main contractor who are about to begin a 42-week leisure refurbishment project in Bury St Edmunds. We're looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager to take full ownership of day-to-day site operations and ensure the successful delivery of this fast-paced, high-profile scheme.

The Role

• Leading site operations throughout the full refurbishment programme
• Managing subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to spec
• Overseeing health & safety, inductions, RAMS, and site audits
• Liaising with the client, project manager, and wider delivery team
• Maintaining progress schedules and reporting on programme performance
• Ensuring quality control and resolving on-site issues proactively

About You

• Proven experience managing refurbishment or leisure sector projects
• A track record of running sites as the No.1 Site Manager
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (essential)
• The ability to drive programme, maintain standards, and keep the project moving
