Job summary

OCS is seeking a Site Facilities Manager to take day-to-day responsibility for safe, compliant FM services across the contract in Manchester. You will lead hard/soft FM delivery, manage teams, contractors and warranties, and drive improvements to meet KPIs and client expectations.

You will oversee maintenance programmes, asset records and compliance reporting, while building strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring value-for-money outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven Facilities Management experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Strong understanding of Hard and Soft FM operations.
• Experience managing teams, contractors, and statutory compliance.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of integrated Hard and Soft FM services across the contract.
• Ensure KPIs, SLAs and customer service standards are met with proactive action.
• Develop operational teams and subcontractors to deliver high-quality service.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance and statutory inspections.
• Manage asset performance, records and lifecycle documentation.
• Act as primary operational liaison with the client and report on performance.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure value-for-money delivery.
• Support contract financials through budgeting, procurement and cost control.
• Oversee quotation and delivery of additional works within budget and quality targets.
