Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting an experienced FM Contract Manager to oversee hard services across 14 Manchester sites. The role focuses on operational leadership, budgeting and client liaison to ensure the contract runs smoothly.

The successful candidate will have a technical M&E background, CAFM experience and strong people-management skills. The position involves monthly travel to Gloucester with core hours Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical (or equivalent).
• Full & clean UK driving licence.
• Hard FM background with CAFM system experience.
• Experience managing facilities management staff.
• Excellent communication, leadership & motivational skills.
• Strong understanding of statutory compliance & contract deliverables.
• Experience managing multi-functional teams.
• Commercial/financial experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational staff, budget and performance of the Hard FM.
• Develop and manage all site services to contract standards for clients, staff and visitors.
• Maintain liaison with the client to meet day-to-day and future contract needs.
• Ensure contract performance aligns with budgets and cost efficiencies.
• Develop lifecycle planning and asset transformation delivery for the contract.
• Manage recruitment, development, appraisal, and staff welfare.
• Exercise financial and commercial controls within budget.
• Foster client relationships to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure high-quality delivery and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Identify and implement productivity improvements.
