Job summary

Perfect Placement is recruiting a Senior Service Advisor for a well-established dealership specialising in classic, sports, and performance vehicles in the United Kingdom. The role acts as the key link between customers, technicians and management, guiding the service journey from initial enquiry to vehicle collection.

The position offers a basic salary of £35,000 per annum with uncapped OTE over £40,000, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm, and one in six Saturdays, 9am to 3pm.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor in automotive.
• Experience with premium, classic or performance vehicles.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple jobs and prioritise workloads.
• Familiarity with workshop management systems and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer enquiries, bookings and workshop appointments from initial contact through to vehicle collection.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and professional communication.
• Prepare detailed estimates, quotations and invoices for servicing, repairs, and additional work.
• Liaise with technicians to diagnose vehicle issues and communicate technical information effectively to clients.
• Obtain authorisation for additional work and keep customers informed on progress and costs.
• Coordinate workshop schedules to ensure timely completion of jobs within agreed timescales.
• Review technician reports, ensuring all work is accurately documented and invoiced.
• Liaise with parts departments to ensure availability of necessary components.
• Oversee vehicle collection and delivery logistics, maintaining high standards of customer care.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for additional maintenance or upgrades.
