Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Walton-on-Thames is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join a reputable dealership. This role welcomes both seasoned advisors and trainees with solid motor trade knowledge in a professional, customer-focused environment.

Salary includes £32,000 basic per year with up to £6,000 bonus and an OTE of approximately £38,000. Hours are Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:30pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota basis paid as overtime, plus ongoing training and career development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor or as a customer-focused Parts Sales Advisor within a franchised dealership or independent garage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service
• Practical knowledge of computer software systems such as Kerridge and RTC
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Organised, detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask effectively
• A valid UK driving licence is preferred
• A proactive, professional attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service

Responsibilities

• Manage customer bookings and vehicle repair processes efficiently to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Conduct vehicle health checks and communicate findings clearly to customers
• Process customer orders and returns accurately and promptly
• Answer customer calls, providing excellent service and technical advice
• Log and report stock discrepancies to the Parts Manager
• Complete administrative duties accurately and within set deadlines
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, managing expectations professionally
