The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and can prioritise a heavy workload while maintaining a calm, professional telephone manner. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Advisor in a franchised dealership.
• Excellent customer service and clear communication.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise a heavy workload.
• Professional telephone manner and confident delivery.
• Calm under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
• Positive attitude and good team spirit.
• Experience with a volume manufacturer brand is advantageous.
• Valid full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and provide outstanding service from booking to collection.
• Give clear, accurate advice on servicing, repairs, costs and timescales.
• Manage bookings and schedule work into the workshop efficiently.
• Work closely with technicians to keep work flowing and on time.
• Keep customers updated while their vehicle is with us.
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
• Support and guide the service advisor team.
• Arrange courtesy cars or other transport when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Giving clear, accurate advice on servicing, repairs, costs and timescales
• Managing bookings and scheduling work into the workshop efficiently
• Working closely with technicians to keep work flowing and completed on time
• Keeping customers regularly updated while their vehicle is with us
• Dealing with customer queries and resolving any issues professionally
• Supporting and guiding the rest of the service advisor team
• Arranging courtesy cars or other transport when needed

Skills and experience

• Previous Service Advisor experience in a franchised dealership
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organisation and the ability to prioritise a heavy workload
