A leading automotive manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Secondary Process Engineer for its Birmingham facility. This role involves leading the development of secondary operations for trimming, assembly, and finishing processes. Candidates should have extensive automotive manufacturing experience and a strong background in engineering project leadership. Additional skills in APQP, PPAP, and lean methodologies are necessary. The position offers a chance to contribute to innovative activities within a fast-paced environment as part of a dedicated team.

Lead the advanced development of secondary operations trimming, assembly, and finishing processes, ensuring robust design, development, and industrialisation. Drive process excellence through the concept phase to ensure a robust handover to the Programme Launch team once nomination has successfully been secured, embedding continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Act as the technical authority for process engineering, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation while upholding Artifex values of Unity, Responsibility, Integrity, Pioneering, and Excellence.
