Job summary

IMMUNOCORE LTD seeks a Senior Scientist I - Characterisation to advance analytical methods for its biopharmaceutical products. You will develop and apply LC-MS/MS peptide mapping and intact mass analysis, supporting drug substance/product characterisation and process development in a fast-paced Biotech environment.

You will coordinate testing, document records, and contribute to presentations to senior management and external partners, while mentoring junior colleagues and driving improvements

Qualifications

• Experience in development of HPLC based peptide mapping methods and MS characterization of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Glycosylation analysis of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Independently coordinated extensive testing of protein biomolecules.
• Characterisation of proteins expressed in microbial and mammalian systems.

Responsibilities

• Characterise products using peptide mapping (LC-MS/MS) and intact mass analysis.
• Support impurity characterisation of drug substance and product.
• Lead method development for characterisation of ImmTAX and related products.
• Document and present findings to internal teams and partners.
• Mentor colleagues and share knowledge across departments.
