Qualifications

• Experience in development of HPLC based peptide mapping methods and mass spectrometric characterisation of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Experience of glycosylation analysis of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Independently coordinated extensive testing of protein biomolecules.
• Characterisation of proteins expressed in both microbial and mammalian systems.
• Understanding of expected post-translational modifications in biological systems.
• Bench-based biopharmaceutical laboratory experience.
• Expert among peers in electrophoretic, chromatographic or mass spectrometry areas.
• Experience in assay development.
• Familiar with stability study principles and interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Characterise drug substance and drug product using LC-MS/MS and other analytical methods.
• Develop and validate peptide mapping and mass spectrometry characterization workflows.
• Contribute to characterisation strategies for biopharmaceutical products including analytical method development.
• Lead and mentor colleagues, share knowledge, and propose new experimental approaches.
• Prepare study protocols and reports; present findings to internal and external audiences.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure compliance with EHS policies.
• Collaborate across teams to drive efficient analytical development and problem-solving.
