Immunocore Ltd. is seeking a Senior Scientist I in Characterisation within the CMC group based at Oxford Immunocore.

The role focuses on developing and applying peptide mapping (LC-MS/MS) and mass spectrometry to characterise biopharmaceutical proteins and antibodies, including glycosylation and PTMs. You will coordinate extensive testing, contribute to method development for ImmTAX and other products, and collaborate within a cross-functional team to ensure rigorous analytical data supporting

Qualificações

• Experience in development of HPLC based peptide mapping methods.
• Experience of glycosylation analysis of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Independently coordinated extensive testing of protein biomolecules.
• Experienced in the characterisation of proteins expressed in both microbial and mammalian systems.

Responsabilidades

• Characterise biopharmaceutical proteins using LC-MS/MS and peptide mapping.
• Support impurity characterisation of drug substance and drug product.
• Contribute to development of characterization methods for ImmTAX and related products.
• Design and conduct biochemical characterisation, stability and comparability studies of biologics.
• Assist in writing study protocols and reports.
• Present research findings to internal teams and partners.
