Basic Salary £50,000 to £60,000 plus uncapped OTE, car allowance, gym membership, 33 days holidays, free onsite parking, pension. Candidates must hold a full UK licence.

My client is expanding and seeks experienced Senior Sales Account Managers with strong new business and retention skills. Relevant backgrounds include high-end car sales, estate agency, technical sales, or commercial finance brokerage.

As a Senior Sales Account Manager, you will excel in a consultative B2B sales role, consistently surpassing sales targets while collaborating with C-level executives and directors and possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to nurture professional relationships are essential.

This position also requires a genuine enthusiasm for delivering exceptional service and convenience to customers. You should thrive in a fast‑paced, engaging environment, adapting quickly and demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning with a willingness to study toward LIBF Diploma in Asset Finance (DipAF).

This role in B2B financial services is ideal for someone who thrives on building both new and existing customer accounts and enjoys acting as a broker to secure commercial finance solutions. Ability to balance two key responsibilities: seeking out new business through warm leads (the "hunter" aspect), which you then turn into ongoing relationships to nurture ("farming") over time.

Candidate Skills
  • A Level/HND or degree qualified
  • Commercially aware with strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Experienced in business development, client retention, and negotiation
  • Highly organised with effective prioritisation
  • Builds and maintains long-term business relationships
  • Results‑driven and motivated to exceed targets and focused on measurable achievements and monthly goals
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities
  • Quickly understands and explains complex concepts or products
  • Ambitious in sales, open to feedback and thrives in fast‑paced, strategic environments
  • Interested in finance/asset finance; keen to support business growth
  • Targets high sales activity and ambitious goals
  • Charismatic and engaging; values teamwork and rapport‑building
  • Plans and prioritises tasks effectively
  • Self‑motivated, goal‑ and revenue‑focused
  • Understands credit analysis and prepares supporting documents
  • Works efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Proficient using a CRM System and MS Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Duties
  • You will be responsible for the full sales cycle: making initial contact (inbound or outbound), gathering customer details, presenting finance options to lenders including the company's own lending arm, closing deals, and maintaining client relationships to become their primary finance partner.
  • Lead sources include company‑generated marketing campaigns, CRM prospecting of 100,000 past applicants, and handoffs from the business development team.
  • You will manage a busy, fast‑moving pipeline, guiding clients through every application stage and achieving your monthly targets.
  • Understanding credit applications and advising on creditworthiness are key; you will collect all relevant documents and information to prepare thorough applications for lender approval.
  • Become an expert on third‑party finance products so you can confidently recommend the best solutions to clients.
  • Keep clients updated on their cases, promptly answering application or product questions.
  • Draft detailed lending proposals and negotiate terms with clients.
  • Maintain strong client relationships throughout and after agreements.
  • Recognise that each lender has different processes, build strong individual relationships, and respect their ways of working.
  • Strive to exceed your KPIs, supporting company growth objectives.
  • Support business owners from first inquiry or handover through to funding drawdown.
  • Own your targets, managing a high‑volume pipeline, consistently presenting deals to lender panels and delivering excellent service.
  • Build instant rapport with customers by phone and email, develop lasting relationships, and increase your knowledge of the SME funding landscape to help clients find the best solutions.
