Senior Residential Support Worker (OFSTED Children’s Residential Home)

Salary package of £31,000 - £33,000 excluding sleep‑in allowance (dependent on experience and qualifications)

About the Role

Our client is looking for a committed and resilient Senior Residential Support Worker to play a key role in supporting young people with EBD at their children’s home located in Hertfordshire (HP3). You will act as a role model and take the lead in ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, child‑centred care.

Candidate will possess a good understanding of OFSTED regulations and compliance requirements, along with experience of working at a children’s home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to children and young people in line with their individual care plans
  • Lead shifts and support the team with guidance, mentoring and supervision
  • Promote a safe, nurturing and structured environment
  • Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and key working sessions
