A leading research organization is seeking a Senior Research Manager to manage and support collaborations within the NIHR Coordinating Centre. This 12-month fixed-term position requires knowledge of NIHR objectives and experience in research funding. Responsibilities include overseeing funded projects, coordinating strategic initiatives, and liaising with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and excellent interpersonal abilities in a hybrid working environment. Salary ranges from £48,600 to £51,300 annually.
This role is a 12 month fixed term position to serve as a conduit between the Collaborations team and the commissioning teams across the NIHR Coordinating Centre.
The Collaborations team supports a range of collaborations across the NIHRs funded infrastructure in areas of unmet and strategic need and delivers ad hoc commissioning activities to support a range of initiatives. This role will support Collaborations including the NIHR Translational Research Collaborations and the Multiple Long Term Conditions Cross-NIHR Collaboration as well as managing and leading on commissioning of specific portfolios and initiatives in mental health and other disease areas. We are looking for a Senior Research Manager with knowledge of ways of working across multiple NIHRCC teams to join our team to directly lead and support a range of new and existing initiatives.
Salary : 48600 to 51300 per year

Working Hours : 37.5 per week 7.5 hours per day
