Change Grow Live in Sheffield is seeking a Senior Dependency and Recovery Coordinator to assess and engage service users, ensuring access to the right intervention at the right time. The role involves screening, assessment, recovery planning and onward referral as part of a patient-centred approach.

You will work with groups, promote recovery and social reintegration, and collaborate with professionals across services.

Qualifications

• Experience in substance misuse or similar field.
• Experience facilitating groups and managing group dynamics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and IT skills.
• Able to work on own initiative with strong time management.
• Knowledge of mental health interventions and good practice.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse professionals and stakeholders.
• Commitment to information governance and safeguarding.
• Willingness to contribute to learning and development of others.

Responsabilités

• Support service users from entry into the service through treatment/recovery journey.
• Provide screening, assessment, recovery planning and onward referral.
• Reduce drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community.
• Promote carer, service user and community involvement.
• Advocate for access to partnership services.
• Support social reintegration and promote recovery, resilience, peer support and self-determination.
• Research and prepare materials for groups/pods.
• Deliver structured content within group settings to service users at various recovery stages.
• Engage in debriefings and evaluations with co-facilitators after groups.
• Tailor workshops to service users’ needs (e.g., anger management, sleep disorders, relationships).
