Job summary

Change Grow Live in London is seeking a Recovery Coordinator to assess and engage with service users, ensuring access to the right interventions at the right time. You’ll work with the Southwark team to deliver recovery-focused support and group-based activities, promoting empowerment and pathways to independence.

The role requires strong understanding of substance misuse, experience with group dynamics, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Have a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field.
• Experience of working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Support service users from entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey.
• Provide screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral.
• Reduce drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community.
• Promote carer, service user and community involvement.
• Provide advocacy for access to partnership services.
• Work with service users to support social reintegration, promoting recovery and self-determination.
• Deliver structured content within groups/pods and tailor workshops to needs.
