Job summary

A leading residential developer in Surrey is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team for a major residential development. The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on significant residential projects and show a history of involvement in long-term developments. This hybrid role offers 10-12 months of pre-construction work followed by on-site responsibilities three days a week, with one day in the office and one day working from home.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on significant residential developments.
• Minimum of 5 years in the Senior Quantity Surveyor position.
• Experience mentoring trainees and Assistant Quantity Surveyors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Join and contribute to the commercial team on a major residential development in Surrey.
• Work in pre-construction for the first 10-12 months; transition to on-site work 3 days per week (1 day in the office, 1 day from home).
• Support scheme delivery across low-rise and high-rise RC frame apartment construction.
