Aldwych Consulting Ltd seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Newcastle team, delivering cost management and quantity surveying across a range of public and private sector projects. You will provide pre-contract and post-contract services and contribute to high-profile schemes.

Lead cost planning, procurement, tender analysis, and contract administration while mentoring junior staff and cultivating strong client relationships to support regional growth and success.

Qualifications

• Six years' experience in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management.
• Background in construction or property consultancy.
• Strong pre-contract and post-contract experience.
• Excellent client-facing skills and commercial awareness.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline; MRICS advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-contract and post-contract Quantity Surveying services.
• Prepare cost plans, estimates and feasibility assessments.
• Manage procurement processes and tender documentation.
• Undertake tender analysis and provide commercial recommendations.
• Administer contracts and manage variations.
• Prepare valuations, financial reports and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and identify commercial risks.
• Build relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
• Support and mentor junior Quantity Surveyors.
• Contribute to regional business growth.
