Aldwych Consulting is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Newcastle team, delivering full cost management services across a varied portfolio. You will manage pre‑ and post‑contract work, prepare cost plans, and guide procurement, tender analysis and contract administration for high‑profile projects.

Formación

• Minimum of approximately six years' experience in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management.
• Background in a construction or property consultancy is preferred.
• Strong pre-contract and post-contract experience.
• Excellent commercial awareness and technical QS skills.
• Experience managing client relationships and delivering projects independently.

Responsabilidades

• Delivering pre-contract and post-contract Quantity Surveying services.
• Preparing cost plans, estimates and feasibility assessments.
• Managing procurement processes and preparing tender documentation.
• Undertaking tender analysis and providing commercial recommendations.
• Administering construction contracts and managing variations.
• Preparing valuations, financial reports and final accounts.
• Monitoring project costs and identifying commercial risks.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
• Supporting and mentoring junior Quantity Surveyors.
• Contributing to the continued growth and development of the regional business.
