The role emphasizes mentorship of junior staff, strategic cost advice and proactive project governance to ensure profitability and client satisfaction on complex schemes.

Qualifikationen

• MRICS status or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a consultancy environment.
• Experience delivering projects across property and development sectors.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts.
• Employer's Agent experience would be advantageous.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing complex projects and multiple priorities.
• Proactive, commercially aware and solution-focused approach.

Aufgaben

• Lead the commercial delivery of projects, achieving cost, quality and programme objectives.
• Prepare and manage cost plans, budgets and forecasts.
• Provide strategic cost and commercial advice throughout the lifecycle.
• Manage contract administration across a variety of projects.
• Maintain financial control, profitability and forecasting.
• Ensure governance, quality standards and client KPIs are met.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior QS team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Support client account growth and assist with bids and business development.
