Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd in Exeter is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management on a varied portfolio of projects across multiple sectors. You will own cost planning, procurement strategies and financial reporting, advising clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

The role provides senior responsibility, opportunities to mentor junior staff and to contribute to the growth of the consultancy's cost management offering within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• MRICS chartership or progress toward chartered status is preferred.
• Proven experience in quantity surveying or cost management in a consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of cost management and quantity surveying services from project inception through to completion.
• Prepare and review cost estimates, cost plans, budgets and financial reports.
• Advise on procurement strategies, contractual arrangements and commercial management.
• Manage tender processes, evaluate submissions and make recommendations.
• Monitor expenditure, manage budgets and provide regular cost reports.
• Oversee measurement, valuations, variations and final accounts.
