The role

As a Senior Project Planner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the heart of our Marine business, applying advanced project planning techniques across complex programmes. You’ll develop and maintain integrated schedules, ensuring alignment with financial and material demand systems. This is a role where your expertise will make a real difference - supporting critical projects, influencing outcomes, and driving success.

Day-to-day you’ll be required to:

  • Develop, define, and maintain project structures (WBS/OBS/RBS/CBS).
  • Build and baseline integrated project schedules (Levels 1–4).
  • Ensure alignment between scheduling tools and financial/material systems.
  • Provide regular status updates, metrics, and critical path analysis.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely planning insights.

This role is full time, 36 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.

Essential experience of the Senior Project Planner
  • Strong knowledge of network scheduling.
  • Advanced proficiency in scheduling tools such as Primavera P6.
  • Experience in forensic planning and full project lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting complex information clearly.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to meet challenging objectives.
