A government agency is seeking a professional to oversee Third Sector partnerships and manage grant schemes. This role involves promoting collaboration with charity and social enterprises to support policy objectives. Responsibilities include managing strategic partnership boards, engaging with charitable foundations for funding, and ensuring compliance with grant funding agreements. Ideal candidates will have experience in grant management and working within the Third Sector, but such experience is not mandatory. This national role may require frequent travel to London.
HMPPS Third Sector Partnerships and Programmes Team is responsible for managing HMPPS' relationships with Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprises (VCSE, also referred to as the Third Sector), and providing oversight of all HMPPS grants. The team works to develop and establish strategic opportunities for MoJ and HMPPS to harness the expertise of the Third Sector to support its policy and operational objectives.
Whilst experience of managing and/or awarding grants would be advantageous, it is not essential.
Experience of working in/with the Third Sector would be advantageous, but not essential.
This is a national role and location is flexible. The team is based in London at 102 Petty France, so frequent travel to London is expected.
Successful candidates must undergo a criminal record check.
People working with government assets must complete baseline personnel security standard checks.
Alongside your salary of £55,457, HM Prison & Probation Service contributes £16,065 towards you being a member of the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme.
