Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Site Manager for structural steelwork projects in Leeds. You will take ownership of day-to-day site operations, balancing safety, quality and programme delivery on busy erection sites.

Essential experience includes structural steelwork erection with lining and levelling, strong health and safety track record, and an active CSCS card. Desirable: SMSTS, MEWP certification and a current first aid certificate.

Qualifications

• Essential: structural steelwork erection, including lining and levelling.
• Essential: proven health and safety experience.
• Essential: CSCS card.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site activities, coordinating operatives and subcontractors to keep erection works progressing.
• Oversee structural steelwork installation, ensuring work meets quality standards.
• Drive site safety, ensuring practices meet current legislation and site procedures.
• Track progress against the programme, identifying delays early and taking action.
• Coordinate with clients and project teams to maintain clear communication and resolve issues.
