Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UK is seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager in our Bridges and Civils team within the Transportation business. You will shape high-quality civil and structural designs for major projects across the UK, collaborating with national and international design teams.

The role requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, a professional qualification (CEng/IEng) and NEC4 experience, with a track record in transportation schemes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent with project experience.
• Professional qualification (CEng/IEng) and ICE/IStructE or a Project Management qualification.
• Experience managing transportation projects.
• Experience with key clients such as Network Rail, HS2, local authorities or developers.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-quality civil and structural designs for new constructions, renewals, maintenance, and assessments.
• Collaborate with national and international design teams to create positive, sustainable impacts.
• Produce and review design documentation including sketches, drawings, calculations, reports and specifications.
• Independently carry out project management work and mentor junior staff.
• Lead teams in design, assessment and maintenance of structural or railway civil projects and multi-disciplinary work.
• Develop and agree scopes; manage internal technical supply chain, budgets, programmes and deliverables.
• Lead bids and tenders, win work and develop client relationships.
