Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to shape the future of transportation within the Bridges and Civils team in the UK. You will lead high-quality design work for new constructions, renewals and maintenance, collaborating with national and international teams to deliver safe, sustainable structures across diverse projects.

The role involves managing design documentation, guiding junior staff, and developing client relationships while adhering to standards and budgets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered or working towards CEng/IEng and membership of ICE or IStructE.
• Experience with key clients and transport/bridges projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality civil and structural designs for new builds, renewals, maintenance and assessments.
• Lead design teams and coordinate with national and international groups.
• Produce drawings, calculations, reports and specifications and review deliverables.
• Lead bids, client relationships and manage internal technical supply chain.
