A leading engineering consulting firm is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to oversee the delivery of highways projects in the UK. The role involves developing relationships with stakeholders, managing project performance, and leading teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Candidates should have experience in highways construction and project management qualifications like PRINCE2. This role is located in South Mimms with a focus on sustainability and safety.

The M25 is one of our flagship projects in the UK. It is the most used part of the UK Strategic Road Network, handling over 200,000 vehicles per day. The network includes around 800 structures and 5 tunnels, requiring high performance, continuous improvement and repairs. We have formed a Joint Venture, Connect Plus Services (CPS), to widen, operate and maintain the M25 under a 30-year contract until 2039. We are seeking experienced Project and Senior Project Managers to deliver objectives across six performance areas: Health & Safety, Quantity, Cost, Environment, Delivery & People.
You will be a dynamic, self‑motivated individual with a strong project background, keen to deliver complex highways schemes through their full lifecycle, with values ranging from £20k to £4m+. The role includes direct line management of project managers, assistant project managers and early careers, and requires successful delivery of the programme on time and to budget.
Ability and willingness to travel to other offices and depots on the network as required; periodic site visits (including night shifts); full driving licence.
