Job description
Role Overview

As a Senior Project Manager you will play a leading role in the delivery of highways and active travel projects for predominantly local authority clients. You will work closely with multidisciplinary design teams, with clients and stakeholders to understand and meet their needs.

Responsibilities
  • Delivery of tasks and projects in accordance with the project programme.
  • Monitoring and reporting of the project’s financial performance.
  • Identification of risks and opportunities.
  • Liaising with clients, regulators and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of project deliverables.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Relevant post‑qualification highways experience and a successful record of project delivery.
  • Previous experience of providing project governance on infrastructure projects.
  • Experience of delivering multi‑disciplinary projects for local authority clients and/or projects with business cases.
  • Knowledge and understanding of NEC4 Professional Services Contract (PSC). NEC4 ECC Project Manager Accreditation is desirable but not essential.
  • A relevant professional qualification e.g. IEng, CEng or Chartered Project Professional.
  • Excellent time management and problem‑solving skills with the ability to develop solutions.
  • The ability to gain insight beyond a customer’s immediate need to identify opportunities that benefit the customer through meaningful and productive relationships.
