We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Process Development Scientist to work for an innovative and growing pharmaceutical company in Oxfordshire.

Joining this Pharmaceutical research company, you will lead on laboratory-based process development projects to scale up manufacturing processes for solid dosage forms.

Responsibilities include :

• To develop and optimise processes for the scale-up and lab scale manufacturing of tablets.
• Plan and carryout lab experiments to develop processes.
• Work collaboratively with other teams including Formulation, Analytical and Engineering.
• Support tech transfers to CDMOs
• Coach / support junior members of the Process Development team
• Interpret data / results and write project reports

Ideal candidates will be degree (BSc, Beng, Masters) or PhD qualified in a science or engineering subject (chemistry, chemical engineering. Pharmaceutical Science) and have experience in the formulation or process development of solid dosage forms working to GMP.

Experience in the development of manufacturing process including powder blending, tabletting and tech transfers is highly desirable.
