Zusammenfassung

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Power System Studies Engineer to join our Energy Networks team, based from Glasgow or other UK locations. You will conduct in-depth simulations for Offshore Wind projects, perform load flow, fault analysis and dynamic studies, and prepare client reports.

You will mentor junior staff, lead RFP responses, and deliver training on power-system topics, translating complex technical issues for decision-makers and project teams in a collaborative environment.

Qualifikationen

• Masters or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with relevant industrial experience.
• Chartered Engineer or in an accredited scheme to become Chartered Engineer.
• At least 4 years dedicated to major offshore wind projects across Pre-FEED to Detailed Design.
• Expertise in PSCAD, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, including development of software scripts.

Aufgaben

• Conduct grid studies for Offshore Wind projects including load flow, short circuit, and protection studies.
• Prepare study reports and respond to proposals with man-hours.
• Mentor junior staff and deliver training on subject matter.
• Lead consulting, R&D study projects and discuss results with clients.
• Explain complex technical issues to decision-makers and project teams.
