Job summary

AtkinsRéalis UK Limited seeks a Senior Power System Studies Engineer for Offshore Wind projects. You will conduct grid analysis, load flow, fault studies and dynamic simulations using PSCAD and PowerFactory from bases in Epsom, Leeds, Birmingham or Glasgow.

You will prepare reports, guide clients, and mentor staff while supporting proposals and RFP responses in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Masters or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with relevant industrial experience.
• Chartered Engineer or progressing towards Chartered status in an accredited scheme.

Responsibilities

• Perform grid interconnection and wind/solar/BESS studies (steady state and dynamic).
• Deliver PSCAD/PowerFactory models, studies, results and recommendations.
• Prepare study reports, respond to RFPs and mentor junior staff.
• Engage with clients to explain technical issues and provide training.
