Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Power System Studies Engineer in the UK to lead grid compliance, dynamic simulations, and power system studies for offshore wind and renewables projects. You will engage with clients, mentor teams, and deliver technical solutions across multi-site projects.

The role requires deep experience in PSCAD/DIgSILENT, PowerFactory, PSSE, and MATLAB/Simulink, with Python scripting advantageous. Hybrid working is offered with UK travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in electrical engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Master’s degree desirable.
• Chartered Engineer status or progress towards chartership.

Responsibilities

• Lead grid compliance and power system studies for renewable energy projects.
• Conduct EMT/dynamic studies and fault analysis.
• Mentor and develop engineers within the practice.
• Engage with clients and support bids and proposals.
