Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Power System Studies Engineer to lead grid compliance, dynamic simulations and power system analyses for offshore wind and renewables projects. You will guide client engagement, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers within a hybrid UK framework.

The role focuses on offshore wind, solar, BESS and interconnectors, requiring strong technical judgement and a track record of delivering complex studies across FEED to Detailed Design

Qualifications

Degree in electrical engineering or related field; master’s desirable.
Chartered Engineer or progressing toward chartership with a relevant institution.
4+ years leading offshore wind/renewables studies across Pre-FEED to Detailed Design stages.

Responsibilities

Lead grid compliance and power system studies for offshore wind and renewables.
Conduct EMT/dynamic studies and HVDC/FACTS/inverter-based generation analyses.
Mentor engineers and support business growth through proposals and delivery.
Collaborate with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams across international projects.
