Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Power System Studies Engineer to lead grid compliance, dynamic simulation and power system studies for offshore wind and renewables in the UK. You will guide client engagement, mentor engineers and shape delivery approaches across multiple projects.

The role requires expertise in PSCAD, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSSE, MATLAB/Simulink and Python, with strong communication and leadership skills to influence senior clients and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in electrical engineering; Master's desirable.
• Chartered Engineer status or progress towards chartership.
• 4+ years in offshore wind or renewables power studies.
• Experience with PSCAD, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSSE, MATLAB/Simulink.
• Strong stakeholder communication and client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead grid compliance, dynamic simulation and power system studies.
• Conduct EMT/dynamic studies and EMTP analyses for offshore wind.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to bids, proposals and framework opportunities.
