Job description

Following the impending retirement of the exiting post holder and the team manager, we have an opportunity for you to make a defining mark in your career and supporting the council through a new local plan during 2026 and beyond. We are currently out to consultation on Regulation 18 and aim to have a local plan submitted mid-2026.

A new local plan is one of the top priorities for the council, so this role is critical to delivering this priority. You will work as part of a small, dedicated team supported by additional resource.
