A community health organization in the UK is seeking a pharmacy technician to support community health services across Sussex. The role is Monday to Friday with no weekends or on-call duties and offers flexible working options. Applicants must be GPhC registered with strong experience. Responsibilities include assisting in medicines management, leading on medical gases, and developing standard operating procedures. Ideal candidates will possess effective communication and leadership skills, and travel across Sussex is required.
We are seeking an experienced pharmacy technician to join our Medicines Management Team, supporting community health services across Sussex. Our team provides clinical pharmacy input to inpatient units and specialist services, along with medicines supply, safety and governance.
Based at Brighton General Hospital, you will support adult inpatient beds in Brighton & Hove, lead on medical gases, and contribute to Trust‑wide Medicines Safety and Governance. This Monday–Friday role has no weekends or on‑call duties. Flexible and hybrid working may be considered, and some travel across Sussex is required; access to transport is essential.
You must be GPhC‑registered with strong pharmacy technician experience, effective communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work proactively and independently. Applicants from all pharmacy backgrounds are welcome – informal visits are encouraged.
