Job summary

A leading health organization is seeking an enthusiastic Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to provide specialist psychological care for pregnant and postnatal women facing mental health challenges. This role entails working in a supportive team, managing other therapists, and conducting assessments. Candidates should have relevant psychological training and experience, particularly surrounding perinatal care. The position is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in the UK, with a mixture of remote and site-based work.

Qualifications

• Experience as a qualified Clinical or Counselling psychologist at a specialist level.
• Good understanding of other professionals' perspectives.
• Experience in providing psychological assessment and treatment in various settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly specialist psychological input to women who have experienced trauma.
• Manage psychological therapists and conduct psychological assessments.
• Work with partners when indicated and provide support to vulnerable populations.
