Job summary

Marsh, a global leader in risk, reinsurance, and consulting, seeks a Senior Pensions Actuarial Consultant to deliver customised advice on DB pension schemes and related topics across trustees and corporates.

You will lead client meetings, shape strategies, and review actuarial work, working with colleagues across funding, investment, and risk transfer to provide optimal client solutions. Hybrid work is supported in offices with client engagement.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical, numerical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage projects, including distribution of work to junior colleagues
• Good understanding of how UK pension schemes operate

Responsibilities

• Lead client meetings and presentations
• Provide tailored advice based on client circumstances
• Utilise strong actuarial skills to consult on technical topics
• Act as final reviewer for actuarial calculations
• Agree strategy, direction and resourcing for client work
• Mentor colleagues and monitor fee budgets
