Job summary

Marsh invites applications for a Pensions Actuarial Consultant to join our team in the UK. Primarily focused on defined benefit pension schemes, you will develop customised advice for trustees and corporates and collaborate with funding, investment, risk transfer and covenant specialists.

You will lead client meetings, act as final technical reviewer, and help set strategy and fees for client work while mentoring colleagues where applicable.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified actuary or nearing qualification.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage projects and junior staff.
• Understanding of UK pension schemes.

Responsibilities

• Lead client meetings and presentations.
• Provide tailored advice to trustees and corporates.
• Act as final reviewer for actuarial calculations.
• Set strategy and resourcing for client work.
• Mentor junior colleagues and monitor budgets.
• Participate in setting and negotiating fees, where appropriate.
