Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Senior Pensions Actuarial Consultant to join its nationwide team in the UK. You will deliver customised DB pension advice to trustees and corporates, leading client meetings and providing expert actuarial input.

You will collaborate across funding, investment and risk transfer, supervise junior staff where applicable, and help manage fees and resource planning while maintaining high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Actuary / scheme Actuary with UK pension knowledge.
• Excellent communication, analysis and numerical reasoning for pensions.
• Ability to manage projects and supervise juniors where applicable.
• Strong understanding of UK pension schemes and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead client meetings and presentations for trustee and corporate clients.
• Provide informed, tailored pension advice on DB schemes.
• Act as final technical reviewer for actuarial calculations.
• Mentor junior colleagues and monitor fee budgets as needed.
