Job description
Responsibilities
  • Effectively manage a team of patient coordinators and include the following duties:
  • Produce a fair and consistent monthly rota.
  • Sign off holidays in line with business activity, ensuring adequate cover.
  • Produce weekly plans for medical record preparation.
  • Be confident with absence reporting and completing return-to-work interviews.
  • Conduct 3‑month and 6‑month probation reviews, highlighting additional training requirements.
  • Be involved in the appraisal process, preparation and delivery.
  • Deliver one‑to‑one meetings and record conversations in writing.
  • Be involved in disciplinary and investigation meetings when required.
  • Assure confidentiality of information.
  • Participate in recruitment of new team members.
  • Act as trainer for new team members, updating training manual.
  • Hold regular team meetings.
