Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' experience at Band 5 or equivalent.

  • Lead and manage Band 5 Nurses and Children's Support Assistants.
  • Deliver and oversee high-quality family-centred care.
  • Complete assessments and develop care plans with families.
  • Support and develop the team using evidence-based practice.
  • Ensure safe medication administration and compliance.

Your Role as Senior Paediatric Nurse
  • Lead and manage Band 5 Nurses and Children's Support Assistants
  • Deliver and oversee high-quality family-centred care
  • Complete assessments and develop care plans with families
  • Support and develop the team using evidence-based practice
  • Ensure safe medication administration and compliance
  • Participate in audits, research, and quality improvement projects
  • Deputise for the House Manager when required
What We're Looking For
  • NMC Registered Nurse with current PIN and CPD
  • Minimum 2 years' experience at Band 5 or equivalent
  • Strong paediatric or children's nursing background
  • Leadership and team management skills
