Job summary

Softcat is seeking a Senior Order Management Executive to join our busy Procurement team in the UK. You will own complex order activities, including shipments, backorders and invoicing, while delivering high service levels and collaborative support across departments.

You will coach, mentor and drive continuous improvement, partnering with suppliers and internal teams to meet SLAs and improve process efficiency. The role offers hybrid working patterns within the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in order processing, invoicing and backorder handling within Order Management.
• Strong stakeholder management and clear communication across teams.
• Ability to analyse issues, propose solutions and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own complex creditor, shipment and backorder activities.
• Understand invoicing responsibilities across Order Management.
• Manage shared inboxes and act as the first escalation point for the team.
• Monitor supplier SLAs and drive improvements in service and accuracy.
• Lead and support process improvement, automation and efficiency initiatives.
• Collaborate across wider procurement teams.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships to resolve escalations.
• Coach, mentor and share knowledge within the team.
