Job summary

Softcat is seeking a Senior Order Management Executive to join our busy Procurement team in the UK. You will own complex order activities, including shipments, backorders and invoicing, while delivering high service levels and collaborative support across departments.

You will coach, mentor and drive continuous improvement, partnering with suppliers and internal teams to meet SLAs and improve process efficiency. The role offers hybrid working patterns within the UK.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Order Management Executive, you'll be responsible for:

• Owning complex creditor, shipment and backorder activities
• Comprehensive understanding of invoicing responsibilities within all areas of Order Management.
• Managing shared inboxes and acting as the first point of escalation for the team.
• Monitoring supplier SLAs and driving improvements in service and accuracy.
• Leading & supporting process improvement, automation and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Strong collaboration across wider procurement teams.
• Building strong stakeholder relationships to resolve escalations effectively.
• Coaching, mentoring and driving knowledge sharing throughout the team.
• Driving continuous improvement through innovation, project leadership and personal development.
