Job Overview
The Senior Operations Manager should be a dynamic and hands on manager who will oversee the day-to-day operations of Plus44, ensuring that all functions, from design to production, logistics to retail, ecommerce and customer services run seamlessly across all the sales channels. This person will oversee end to end operations across design, marketing, partnerships, logistics, and supply chain to deliver operational excellence, streamline processes, and support the brand's long-term growth strategy. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, brings streetwear culture knowledge, and possesses the agility to implement systems and processes from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and manage effective operational systems across production, logistics and inventory
- Liaise with Executive team, be responsible for overall business and positioning strategy
- Coordinate with design and production teams to align timelines, budgets and quality standards
- Oversee stock management and distribution across e-commerce and retail partners
- Collaborate with finance to produce budgets, monitor costs and drive operational efficiency
- Identify workflow improvements and implement structured processes that enhance scalability
- Manage supplier and vendor relationships, ensuring all partnerships meet brand and ethical standards
- Manage customer services provision, ensuring excellent service delivery
- Collaborate with e-commerce partners and agencies to improve and scale the business
- Work cross-functionally to support brand launches, collaborations, and events. Responsible for overseeing marketing campaigns and working closely with creative and brand teams to ensure all elements of campaign run smoothly.
- Support planning and execution of pop-up strategy, events and artist collaborations.
- Lead operational reporting and performance analysis, providing insights and solutions to leadership
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations across logistics, sustainability and employment
- Support team growth and training within operational and logistical function.
- Support with ad-hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations management, ideally within fashion, retail or lifestyle brands
- Strong leadership and organisational skills with proven ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Excellent understanding of supply chain, production and logistics processes
- Analytical mindset with experience managing budgets and operational KPIs
- Skilled communicator and collaborator with ability to work cross-functionally
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, ERP systems, inventory management software and logistics platforms
- Strong financial acumen and budget management capabilities
- Experience with project management tools
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify) and new digital operations and applications
- Evidence of marketing and community building strategies
- Data analysis skills to interpret metrics, identify trends, and make informed decisions
