Job summary

Mirus Aircraft Seating is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to own the manufacturing facility, leading Production, Warehouse and Manufacturing Engineering to meet safety, quality, cost and delivery targets. You will shape the operations, implement lean methods and drive continuous improvement during a period of growth and high-volume aerospace production.

Qualifications

Senior production or operations leadership in a serial production environment.
Experience leading multiple operational functions (Production, Warehouse, Manufacturing Engineering).
Experience in aerospace, automotive, or similarly regulated manufacturing.
Lean manufacturing experience and culture.
Understanding of ERP/MRP systems and production planning.
Experience managing budgets and resources.

Responsibilities

Own overall operational performance of the manufacturing facility, ensuring safety, quality, delivery and performance objectives.
Lead across Production, Warehouse and Manufacturing Engineering with clear accountability and KPIs.
Develop and implement the operational strategy to support growth towards high-volume manufacturing.
Drive Lean culture and continuous improvement, embedding SQCDP, 5S and structured problem solving.
Support the leadership team with appropriate structures, resources and succession plans.
Ensure readiness for NPI/NPD and engineering changes, including capacity planning and product introductions.
